These cells are then multiplied and implanted back into the scalp to stimulate hair growth. While still in the experimental stages, hair cloning shows promise as a future treatment option.

Gene Therapy:

Gene therapy explores the use of genetic techniques to address hair loss. Researchers are studying the genes responsible for hair growth and loss to develop targeted therapies. By modifying genes associated with hair loss, scientists aim to stimulate hair regrowth and prevent further hair loss.

Scalp Cooling:

Scalp cooling is a technique used during chemotherapy to minimize hair loss. Cooling caps or helmets are worn before, during, and after chemotherapy sessions. The cold temperature reduces blood flow to the scalp, limiting the number of chemotherapy drugs reaching the hair follicles and reducing hair loss.
